Infrastructure

The following is a summary of the Engineering Computing Resources available college-wide. In addition, we also share computing capacity with the university High Performance Cluster (http://hpc.fau.edu) and whose capacity is updated at http://hpc.fau.edu/resources-2/koko/.

The college infrastructure is almost completely virtualized (except for the HPC servers) in order to provide a highly optimized utilization of compute, memory and storage. Access to all resources are provided using a virtualized desktop infrastructure powered by VMWare and Citrix allowing our students, faculty and staff to login both on and off campus.
